Come visit the River City Plaza and Tent with us. The Plaza stretches out from the Float Den and connects Mardi Gras World’s Float Den and the River City Ballroom with the Mississippi River, stunning views and night breezes free of charge.

Opening our from the incredible River City Ballroom, the Plaza takes you right to where the city meets the river, where your guests can feel the majesty of the Mighty Mississippi as they enjoy a night under the dramatically lit twin bridges. The Plaza comes complete with a seven thousand square foot vaulted pavilion on our private wharf. Unique in all of downtown, the Plaza is a free-form space along the river available for any event you can dream up. The Plaza is perfect for weddings, receptions, and parties of any kind where you want to give you guests a view of the river and let them enjoy the fresh air.

Imagine an evening…  Guests sip cocktails while leaning on the railing and enjoying watching the steam ships float up the Mississippi, or dance the night away until the tented pavilion to New Orleans Rhythm and Blues. There’s no better place to discover the essence of New Orleans.
